Faculty and staff (including student employees) wearing a NIOSH approved respirator such as an N95 respirator* MUST complete ICON training. The required ICON course will depend on the reason you are wearing the N95.
- Individuals voluntarily wearing an N95 respirator (with permission of their department) when not required by OSHA regulations must complete the Respirator: Voluntary Use - W050OS course. This includes staff requesting to wear an N95 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Individuals required to wear an N95 respirator for protection from an airborne contaminant at work must complete the Respirator: Dust Mask – W141OS course.
