Chris Newville recently joined the EHS staff as a Safety Compliance Specialist for the Division of Student Life (DSL). Chris comes to us with a wide background in safety that includes both manufacturing settings and the food industry. He most recently was a Manufacturing Specialist with the UI College of Pharmacy. Chris will provide safety support for DSL that will include coordinating the continuous improvement of occupational safety and health by developing and maintaining standardized safety programs in accordance with OSHA, University and departmental regulations, policies and procedures.
