EHS, in collaboration with the University’s Laboratory Safety Committee, would like to recognize Rhinda Hagge for being awarded the Lab Safety Certificate. Rhinda is the first person at The University of Iowa to earn this recognition. Rhinda has completed a curriculum of safety courses that cover biological, chemical, environmental, fire, and occupational safety topics above and beyond the research basics. She has also demonstrated her ability to conduct site-specific hazard assessments for her own research group’s activities. EHS appreciates Rhinda’s efforts in contributing to a safe and successful University research community. Congratulations, Rhinda!
