EHS will be hosting informational meetings to discuss upcoming changes to research laboratory safety reviews in 2024. These meetings are intended for professors, lab managers, and staff in research labs who meet with EHS personnel during their lab’s annual biological/chemical safety review. The same topics will be covered at all meetings. The meetings will be:
- Wednesday, December 6th at 11:00 AM in 2520D UCC (No RSVP needed)
- Wednesday, January 17th at 3:00 PM in 2117 MERF (No RSVP needed)
- Tuesday, January 23rd at 1:00 PM on Zoom (RSVP to Rachelle Justice for the meeting link.)
We will review all coming changes and answer any questions. These meetings are open to all. This year’s meeting is expected to be 60 minutes or less.
Come December, you may preview the Audit Changes for 2024 presentation document via the Annual Lab Review Process page on the EHS website. To access the document, in your browser, login to Microsoft Office365 with your University HawkID and password. This document is online it will be available all year for review.
