Safety Advisors will be holding two informational meetings to introduce the upcoming 2020 lab review checklist. EHS staff will discuss the 2020 safety audit changes and update attendees on various programs and policies across campus. These meetings are intended for professors, lab managers, and staff in research labs who meet with EHS personnel during their lab’s annual bio/chem safety inspection. Please make room on your calendar and sign-up to join us during one of the training sessions listed below:
Tuesday, December 17th from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in 2117 MERF or
Thursday, January 9th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in 2117 MERF
These meetings are open to all and questions are encouraged. A handout will be provided. If you cannot attend you may email Rachelle Justice to receive a copy of the handout.
Due to the high number of attendees last year, we are asking individuals to register soon. If the sessions fill, we will schedule a third meeting time. The course title is “EHS Audit Changes for 2020” (course # EHS101).
To sign up for a meeting time:
- Log-in to HR Self-Service and go to “My Training”.
- Click on “My Training”.
- Click “Enroll in Courses”.
- In the Course number field, search for “EHS”.
- Click “View Details” to see the course openings and enroll in a session.
