EHS will be hosting two informational meetings to discuss upcoming changes to research laboratory safety reviews in 2027. These meetings are intended for professors, laboratory managers, and staff in research laboratories who meet with EHS personnel during their lab’s annual biological/chemical safety review. The same topics will be covered at both meetings. Please also bring any questions or comments that you would like to discuss with EHS representatives. 

This year’s meeting is expected to be 60 minutes or less. Closer to the date of the December meeting, the "Audit Changes for 2027" presentation will be posted for preview, under Documents, via the Annual Lab Review Process page on the EHS website. To access the document in your browser, login to Microsoft Office365 with your University HawkID and password. This document will continue to be available all year for review.
